Enlightened by Josie Marans Enlightenment Illuminator!

There’s a new product Im obsessed with! It’s the Josie Maran Argan Enlightment Illuminator and it will definitely become a staple in my beauty routine, at least for now while the dewy look is all the rage. The funny thing about it is that it’s not a product I would normally ever pick out at Sephora, but after seeing a picture of a friend who had used it and looked like they had set the clock back many years, I had to try. Literally, I saw a picture online and texted my friend immediately to see if they had gotten some new facialist or something! It turned out they had just started using this product and had it on in the photo. They were shocked I even noticed. The glow was so magical that I immediately ordered it. The only way I can accurately describe this product is to say that my face now looks like J Lo and Cupid made a baby on it. It gives you this youthful and very natural glow and shine. Not a baked and bronzed look at all like you may expect, it creates a dewy just kissed by Cupid sheen to your complexion. To get the perfect glowing look, I use a couple pumps mixed into my foundation all over the face and then go over that blotting and lightly blending more of the illuminator all over that (focusing more heavily on the middle forehead cheekbones and nose like you would with any illuminator). It also makes a nice primer or gives a subtle and gorgeous glow all on its own! I like to finish the look with a few swipes of NARS Copacabana illuminator to brighten things up (Cupid’s bow, cheekbones, brows, nose) and powder and a brightening concealer only under my eyes or in “problem areas”. Another thing I loved about this product is how my blush and contour just creamed right into it allowing for a totally natural look that actually went great from day to night. Plus, it’s argan oil base makes you feel like you must be doing something right for your skin! I’ve also been using a few drops of Josie Marans light Argan oil every night before bed which I will review soon! Dare I say, I think I may have finally found something to minimize my pores! Oh, and IT also makes a great primer if you use it in the morning before doing your makeup. Bottom line, this is a stellar product and I’m sold on Josie Marans products and this is coming from someone who had this product reccommended to them many times but had to see it to actually believe it. Once I saw it, I was checking out on Sephora’s app and choosing 2 day shipping! So, I say definitely go for the glow this Spring/Summer!
